Capturing The Taste of Summer

It’s been a good year on the Farm for tomatoes, so much so that we have enough surplus to jar up for winter use.

Sliced in half, topped with chopped basil lightly seasoned then drizzled with olive oil. Then oven dried at 70degrees for 3-4 hours.

Luckily we can do this from our solar panels while the sun is shining or I would not recommend running your oven for this period of time, just for tomatoes.
